Great Grandpa Marcus lived 90 years in perfect health.  He never once had a headache and he stayed away from diets, medicines, and exercise.  He did, however, eat a piece of chocolate everyday.  This was his secret to health.

As a visitor and resident of Huntington Beach since 1920, Leland Marcus saw many changes in the landscape of the community.  None of these changes brought a bigger smile to his face than the establishment of the Huntington Beach Chocolate Company in 1999.  Combining his love of chocolate and the name of his favorite city, the Huntington Beach Chocolate Company brought him tremendous happiness.
